In the meantime, mankind has been working hard on "finding human rights." Extremely selfish humans have completely ignored and violated the rights of nature, thinking that they only need to expand the realm of human rights.
If human rights are overemphasized, nature has no place. The tremendous wealth and convenience that we humans now enjoy is the result of thoroughly depriving nature of its right to enjoy. The broad-minded and generous nature has been silent for a long time and sacrificed a lot of concessions to humans.
Now they seem to have reached their limits. The recent phenomenon of abnormal temperatures and natural disasters on a massive scale are nature's counterattacks against human greed. Not long ago, the eastern part of the United States is suffering from an ice storm, and the western part is panicking with untimely forest fires.
It's just the beginning.
Nature is now beginning to look for her rights.
When nature begins to seek rights in earnest, humans will face great difficulties. Before it's too late, it's time to respect the rights of nature and find them. We must find the very way for humans and nature to coexist before it is too late.
In order to find the rights of nature and return them to nature, the ‘GLOBAL NETWORKS FOR BLUE PLANET’ was born. Representative journalists, scholars, entrepreneurs, and lawyers in Busan joined forces. In the future, we will develop our business with various ideas. In August this year, we will gather domestic and foreign films and videos containing the site of climate disaster and the only hope of the Earth, and hold an ‘2023 ESG International Conference’ in which global natural rights practitioners participate.
As climate-related changes have occurred differently than in the past around the world, ESG for sustainable management of companies is receiving great attention. New regulations related to ESG are expected to be strengthened and renewed, and companies need to adapt to the new business environment and set long-term goals.
We look forward to your active participation.
Please join forces with a sense of mission to pass on better Busan, Korea, and even the global village to our descendants.
Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for their support.
